What was the biggest adventure of your past year?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 31, 2008:
Last summer, I adventured across the Sierra Mountains on my first-ever backpacking trip with my boyfriend Craig. It was intense, and despite our injuries we made it through and had a spectacular time trekking through Yosemite, the Sierras and eventually to Mammoth Lakes. It was so breath-takingly beautiful.
Next time I hope I'll be in slightly better shape! :)

i know the feeling - my first trip is a favorite memory and has started a tradition of at least one big mountain a year.
