What has your recent relationship to money been like?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 13, 2009:
It's become a long-distance relationship where Money is quickly moving farther and farther away. It's scary because I am going to attend law school (to become a human rights lawyer to help discriminated & disadvantaged Americans), and even before that I want to be able to afford an LSAT test prep course, which is a whopping $1450, which will increase my chances of being accepted into a top law school like UC Berkeley's Boalt School of Law. Right now, I have absolutely no way of affording these things, and I would be very grateful for any suggestions or anthing else you might have to contribute. Thank you.
I'm abou to graduate an undergrad program at a University of California this June, and I'm a full -time student with absolutely no time for a job, although I'm hoping to find one next quarter. That would help me a lot. :) Also, I am so incredibly grateful for the money I received from selling my grandma's house, and for the kindness of scholarship committees (like Gaia! Thank you again!) who have so generously given me enough to get this far. I am so remarkably grateful for everyone's contributions, but have begun applying to more scholarships since my bank account is quickly diminishing.

No worries Jenna, just keep focussing on what you want, without focussing on what you don’t want. Create good emotional feelings around everything and good internal representations of what you want and what you are going to achieve! :)
Oh positive outlooks do AMAZING things, don’t they? I’ve definitely been achieving a lot lately by simply doing everything that you just mentioned. It’s truly simple and truly amazing.
