What (or who) is waiting for you?

I feel like I'm waiting for things to be calmer, happier and less stressful, while Life is telling me to be patient and that things will clear up and be better eventually. To give you context, a couple nights ago my boyfriend Craig and I just broke up. We had a beautiful relationship for 4 years an 2 months, the last 2 years of which have been long-distance, so I've been heartbroken these past couple days.

But who exactly has been waiting for me? Maybe Craig, but mostly my dear, amazing friends who have been there for me every step of the way so far, and will wait for me until however long it takes for me to mend.

Deadlines. As a college student about to graduate, some of my biggest dreams are on hold because of the bazillion deadlines and due dates for other things in the way. But everything "in the way" is actually there to help me better prepare to achieve my dreams, so it all works out in the end. :)

What is the life stage of humanity?

To me, it completely depends on the individual. There are definitely some old souls out there, while others are much younger and more naive. My question, though, is "What about you?" Do you think you are an older soul, or are you fresh and new in this world? I'm curious to know. :)
